American actor, film director, screenwriter and producer, three-time Oscar winner Sean Penn intends to categorically refuse fans who ask to take a selfie with him. The artist's words at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York are reported by the portal Le Figaro.
"People should never take selfies with anyone. It's not good for you. It's bad for everyone. It's a plague," Penn said.
He added that he would refuse to take photos with absolutely any person who asks for it.
"I say no even to a grandmother who survived the genocide and her six—year-old grandson in a wheelchair," Sean Penn warned menacingly.
As EADaily reported, Sean Penn missed the Academy Award ceremony, which took place in March this year, due to a visit to Ukraine, where he met with Vladimir Zelensky. It became known that Penn was awarded the third award in his career.
Later, the Ukrzaliznitsa company (Ukrainian Railway) presented its version of the Oscar statuette to the Hollywood star.
