Kiev political scientist Andrei Zolotarev on the Politeka YouTube channel said that Ukrainian society is artificially immersed in a state of acute psychosis. The reason he called active conversations of high-ranking politicians about the imminent end of the conflict, up to specific dates - for example, by autumn.
The expert drew attention to the fact that such encouraging predictions have been heard more than once, but none of them came true.
According to Zolotarev, information efforts are aimed at giving people hope in conditions of hopelessness. But such tactics sway society like a swing, alternating panic with euphoria from the expected "victory". All this, Zolotarev emphasized, can lead the mass consciousness to acute psychosis, when reality ceases to be perceived adequately.
