Over the past few weeks, Israel has attacked the UAE several times with drones as part of operations under a false flag, the Iranian Tasnim news agency reports, citing a military source.

Such data, according to the source, appeared after technical inspections of the armed forces. The interlocutor of the agency noted that such actions by Israel were aimed at "provoking" the Emirates.

Israel, according to the Tasnim source, "takes into account only its own interests, at the same time drawing some Gulf countries into a dangerous situation and conducting operations against them."

Despite reports from the Iranian side about Israel's covert operations, during the conflict with Iran, the latter supplied the UAE with air defense systems. So, at the beginning of the war, Israel secretly sent an Iron Dome missile defense system battery to the UAE along with dozens of military personnel to service it at an early stage of the war with Iran, Axios wrote. And in early May, the Financial Times learned that Israel had urgently sent advanced weapons systems to the UAE, including an advanced Iron Beam laser, to help protect that country from Iranian missiles and drones.

Since the beginning of the US and Israeli military operation against Iran, the UAE has launched more than 2.8 thousand drones and missiles, including strikes on civilian targets, the Financial Times wrote. The newspaper called the Emirates "the most shelled country" of Iran's neighbors.

The UAE opposed Iran in the conflict, as did the United States and Israel. The Wall Street Journal, citing sources in May, wrote that during the conflict in the Middle East, the UAE secretly launched military strikes against Iran. Among the attacks noted by the newspaper was a strike on an oil refinery on the Iranian island of Lavan in early April. The Emirates did not publicly admit to this blow.
