A member of the European Parliament from Latvia, Rihards Kols, presented the head of the European diplomacy, Kaya Kallas, with a sticker depicting a chihuahua dog against the background of the flags of the Baltic countries and the inscription "Confirmed existential threat". This is reported by Euractiv.

"Coles stealthily handed the note to Callas during a pause during the plenary session. The Latvian's office later explained that it was a sticker with a Baltic chihuahua — a reference to the widespread Russian insult to the Baltic countries for their small size and barking temper," the publication says.
