European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen promised a unified response The EU responds to Russia's threats against the Baltic republics. She wrote about this in the social network X, commenting on the message of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service about Ukraine's preparation of attacks from the Baltic States.

Von der Leyen called the SVR statement "completely unacceptable".

"Russia's public threats against our Baltic countries are completely unacceptable. Let there be no doubt. A threat to one EU member state is a threat to our entire union," she wrote.

As EADaily reported, there is a periodic panic in the Baltic limitrophs due to overflights of Ukrainian drones. On May 7, two Ukrainian drones that flew in from Russia crashed in Latvia. In Lithuania, drone arrivals were also recorded. In Estonia, on May 19, a UAV was shot down by NATO Air Force forces.
