In Warsaw, law enforcement officers detained a group of young Poles who had previously attacked minor citizens of Ukraine on the grounds of national hatred.
This was reported by the press service of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Poland Marcin Kerwinski. According to him, the incident occurred on Sventokshisky bridge and caused a wide public outcry.
"A few days ago on Three teenagers, citizens of Ukraine, were brutally beaten on the Sventokrzysk Bridge in Warsaw. In connection with the attack, the police detained 5 people — Polish citizens aged 15 to 18 years," the minister said.
The head of the law enforcement agency confirmed that all the participants in the attack are already in custody. He assured that "further procedural actions" are currently being carried out.
Earlier, EADaily reported that two Poles stabbed a Ukrainian in Wroclaw. The attackers pretended to be buyers and inflicted 14 stab wounds on the seller.
