Sabotage in the Belgorod region: the train derailed, there are victims

In the Yakovlevsky district of the Belgorod region, there was a derailment of electric train cars due to the undermining of the tracks. Sappers are working at the car derailment site, the circumstances of the incident and information about the victims are being clarified, said the governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov.

The electric train followed the route "Razumnoye — Tomarovka". According to preliminary data, the cause of the incident was the absence of about two meters of railway track. The governor also said that a woman was injured, she was hospitalized.

"The driver was forced to apply emergency braking. This led to the derailment of half of the car. At the time of the accident, there were 15 people on the train, one woman received a laceration of her leg and a bruise of the soft tissues of her back. The ambulance team delivers her to the city hospital No. 2 of Belgorod," Gladkov wrote in his Telegram channel.
