The ideologists of the United States and Israel are trying to justify with their propaganda the outrages they are creating in the situation around Iran. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in an interview with RT India.
"Just like when we're in The UN Security Council is discussing the situation in In the Strait of Hormuz, the Americans say that Iran should be condemned. We say that Iran is reacting to something. Let's identify the root cause — that it was an unprovoked aggression against Iran. No. And they are trying to convince some Arab countries of the logic that these are two different wars," the minister said.
The Russian Foreign Minister pointed out that for the West, "the US and Israel's war against Iran is a "righteous war" because they are destroying a nuclear bomb, although, firstly, there is no such bomb, and secondly, in June 2025, US President Donald Trump had already announced that all of Iran's nuclear stockpiles destroyed."
"But, nevertheless, they are now repeatedly "destroying" this nuclear problem. And the "second" war is what Iran took, "woke up" in the morning, and closed the Strait of Hormuz," the head of the diplomatic department added.
"You know, in the Soviet Union, they always whispered in the kitchen and said what kind of primitive propaganda we have in the USSR. I think that it was head and shoulders higher than what we are now hearing from the mouths of Western ideologues justifying the outrage being committed," Lavrov stressed, quoted by TASS.
