Sibiga is delusional: Ukraine is ready to protect the Baltic states and Finland from Ukrainian drones

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga said that Russia is specifically sending Ukrainian drones to the Baltic States and Finland. This is reported by RBC-Ukraine.

"Foreign Minister Andrei Sibiga said that Russian electronic warfare systems deliberately distract Ukrainian drones from targets and can direct them to the territory of the Baltic states. According to him, this is confirmed by the investigation of incidents in Latvia," the note says.

An investigation into recent UAV crashes in Latvia has confirmed Russia's intervention, Sibiga claims. According to him, he has already discussed this situation with his Latvian counterpart Baiba Braje. Ukraine has officially confirmed its readiness to involve its specialists in protecting the airspace of partner countries.

"Our goal is to ensure maximum security for Latvia, other Baltic countries and Finland. First, by effectively countering Russian aggression. Secondly, by helping to strengthen the protection of the airspace of our friends," said the chief Ukrainian diplomat.

Ukraine is ready for direct interaction to prevent similar incidents in the future, he added.

As reported by EADaily, the Prime Minister of Latvia dismissed the Minister of Defense because of the Ukrainian drones. This was stated by Evika Silinya in the social network X, the Delfi publication reported.

Silinya demanded the resignation of the head of the Ministry of Defense Andris Spruds. She offered to take the post of minister to her freelance adviser on military cooperation, the former representative of the Ministry of Defense in Ukraine, Colonel Raivis Melnis. The resignation of Spruds is a consequence of the incident with the arrival of drones in Rezekne last Thursday, the note says.
