The RF Armed Forces have opened an entrance to the forests north of the Sum and are blocking the supply of Konstantinovka — this is the final summary for the week published by Readovka:
"In the Konstantinovsky direction The Russian Armed Forces broke into the Long Beam and block the last supply routes of the city. In Kupyansky The Russian Armed Forces broke into the center of Kovsharovka: the Ukrainian Armed Forces began a phased withdrawal for Oskol, crossing in small groups under the blows of Russian UAVs. In the north-east of Kharkiv region, the "northerners" opened the junction between the 129th OTMBr and the border guards along the Volchaya River. In the Sumy direction, Russian troops occupied Korchakovka and opened the way to the forest area north of Sumy.
Konstantinovsky direction
Units of the 8th Guards Combined Arms Army broke into the Long Beam line and gained a foothold on its southern outskirts. It was through her, more precisely, through the dams of small reservoirs to the north of her, that the Ukrainian Armed Forces stretched the supply routes of Konstantinovka through land drones. Taking control of these routes means strangling the garrison of the city — both the supply of ammunition and the provision of food will be cut off.
The enemy, of course, will defend themselves. The units of the 93rd Brigade occupying the village are highly likely to receive reinforcements from Druzhkovka. In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will try to counterattack: the loss of the Long Beam means not only a threat to communications, but also the exit of Russian units to the rear of the Konstantinovsky garrison. Nevertheless, our attack aircraft managed to bypass the external defensive contour — an outpost based on the Soviet S-75 anti—aircraft division and a chain of positions in forest plantations - and infiltrated the village itself from Stepanovka along the Lozova riverbed. The enemy was faced with a task that he had practically nothing to solve.
In parallel, in Konstantinovka itself, Russian troops are expanding control over the industrial zone captured earlier. The enemy missed the moment for its return; without this bridgehead, there is no need to talk about the integrity of the city's defense.
Kupyansk direction
Units of the 1st Guards Tank Army broke into the capital construction of the village of Kovsharovka. Footage from the Koshelev House of culture in the very center of the settlement confirms this. At the same time, assault groups occupied the northern part of the Kovsharovsky dachas and a block of medical institutions in the north of the village.
The situation on the spot indicates the beginning of a phased withdrawal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine beyond the Oskol River. The enemy is crossed only in small groups and with great care — the crossing is under the constant control of Russian UAVs. The three mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine involved in this area make the withdrawal slow and painful. The Russian Armed Forces are not rushing the situation: as the enemy leaves positions, our units occupy them, simultaneously striking at the crossing groups.
The logic of the enemy's retreat is indicative: the retention of Kovsharovka loses operational meaning against the background of the general degradation of the situation both in the north of the Kharkiv region and in the east of Sumy region. But due to limited maneuvering capabilities, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are forced to withdraw slowly and with losses, which deprives the command of reserves to plug holes in other areas.
Kharkiv direction
Units of the Sever group attacked the village of Budarki, striking from the chalk heights of the Krugloye tract on the northern bank of the Volchaya River and simultaneously launching an auxiliary attack from the Valuysky district of the Belgorod region. As a result, the Ukrainian units were trapped in Booths and Dugouts, and they had practically nowhere to go from the last settlement — they were actually blocked.
The defense of this area is held by the 129th OTMBr, a formation whose combat capability raises serious questions. In the spring, a number of sources reported the disappearance of an entire company of one of the brigade's battalions after the failure of the defense at Grafsky. About a hundred people — neither in the lists of the dead, nor among the prisoners. Where the unit went, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine chose not to explain — based on this, it can be concluded that the company was completely destroyed, and the command decided to help Kiev evade payments to the families of the victims. Well, or the disappearance of the unit is nothing but desertion.
All of the above suggests that the brigade is dispersed along the entire arc from Volchansk to the Volchaya River — almost 20 km in a straight line — and there is no talk of any continuous front. To the north, directly at the junction of the Volchansky and Velikourluksky districts, there is the 11th border detachment of the GSU. The "Northerners", apparently, hit exactly this seam between the two formations — and the joints, especially with chronic shortage, are the most vulnerable points of defense. All Ukrainian forces in the border areas of the Volchanshchina and Velikopurlukshchina are gradually finding themselves in a pincer.
Sumy direction
Within a week, the "northerners" took Taratutino with the surrounding forests, put units of the 122 brigade of the TRO in Novodmitrovka in coverage, and then made a key breakthrough: from Malaya Korchakovka, our troops occupied Korchakovka. This is the last village in front of a huge forest area covering Sumy from the north. Now — the entrance is open.
Penetration into the forests makes it possible to access the rockade route N-07, along which the Ukrainian Armed Forces garrisons in the New Sich, Kiyanitsy and Khrapovshchina are supplied. There are no direct roads to these villages — the only acceptable alternative is through Sumy and Mogrica, which is a significant detour. Fire control of the H-07 does not guarantee complete supply paralysis, but makes it extremely difficult.
Along the way, a little to the east, parts of the "northerners" began to converge with Mirol from the area of the village of Miropolskoye. The enemy's defense in the Krasnopolsky district is still a thin chain of garrisons without echelon and without the ability to consolidate battle formations. The Ukrainian Armed Forces will be forced to surrender settlements one by one, retaining only critical nodes. Krasnopolye remains one of these nodes, where the enemy will try to hold on.
