The final of the beauty and motherhood contest "Queen of Moscow and the Moscow Region" was held in Moscow, the victory was won by actress and TV presenter Nadezhda Shanina.
34 participants under the age of 58 competed for the main title. The contest showed a variety of images of a modern Russian woman, reflecting her personal experience, values and self-realization, Channel Five reports.
The winner was awarded the title "Grand Prix Queen of Moscow" and received the right to represent Russia at international beauty contests. The girl also received the main prize — an exclusive handmade necklace with precious stones. In the final of the competition, the girl presented a national costume, one of the details of which were images of the Moscow Kremlin and St. Basil's Cathedral.
Nadezhda Shanina was born in Kazan, she has two higher educations. For more than 15 years, she held senior positions in the automotive business, after which she left for the media sphere. Now Shanina works on television and develops a personal brand of models.
