The retaliation strike that the Russian military inflicted on the facilities of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine last week demonstrated the ineffectiveness of Western sanctions against Russia.
The National Interest (NI) magazine writes about this, noting that Western restrictions turned out to be useless and unable to affect the combat potential of the Russian Federation.
"The massive airstrike indicates Russia's ability to produce attack drones, ballistic missiles and barrage ammunition even in the face of tough international sanctions," the publication said.
At the same time, it is recognized that Western countries and the Kiev regime are not able to adequately compete with the Russian military-industrial complex in the production of weapons, especially with regard to ballistic missiles.
The authors of the material state that Russia continues to strengthen its capabilities in the field of long-range missiles, and its capabilities in this area are only getting stronger.
Recall that on April 16, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation confirmed information about another retaliatory strike on military and energy facilities in the territory controlled by the Kiev regime.
As EADaily reported, the attack was carried out with high-precision long-range ground- and air-based weapons, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles.
The targets for the strikes were objects of the military-industrial complex involved in the production of cruise missiles, long- and medium-range unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as the fuel and energy complex of Ukraine, used in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
