The Ministry of Defense confirmed a massive retaliatory strike on Ukraine

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has confirmed information about another retaliatory strike on military and energy facilities in the territory controlled by the Kiev regime.

The corresponding statement was published on Thursday, April 16, by the press service of the military department on its official resources.

"During the day, in response to the terrorist attacks of Ukraine on civilian objects on the territory of Russia, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation inflicted a massive blow," the report says.

It is specified that the attack was carried out with high-precision long-range ground- and air-based weapons, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles.

The targets for the strikes were objects of the military-industrial complex involved in the production of cruise missiles, long- and medium-range unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as the fuel and energy complex of Ukraine, used in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Defense Ministry stressed that the targets of the strikes had been achieved. All designated facilities were hit.

It is also reported about strikes on the enemy by operational-tactical aviation, strike unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery groups of troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

As a result, the container terminal, the parking places of armored vehicles and the testing of ground-based robotic complexes, as well as the temporary deployment points of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries in 154 districts were defeated.

Earlier, EADaily reported that the armed forces of the Russian Federation continued to strike at military energy infrastructure facilities on the territory of Ukraine. The sky over Kiev after a series of explosions was covered with thick black smoke.
