Footage of a fire at a refinery in Tuapse flew around the world — the APU drones were actively hit with machine guns

For the second time in a week, Ukraine has hit Russia's only oil refinery on the Black Sea coast — the Rosneft-owned refinery in Tupse. As noted by Z-bloggers, the footage of the fire has spread all over the world.

The governor of the Krasnodar Territory, Veniamin Kondratiev, wrote in his telegram channel that on the night of April 20, Ukrainian drones massively attacked the seaport in Tuapse.

"One man died. Another one was injured, he is receiving all the necessary medical care," he said.

"There was a fire in the seaport. At the moment it is also known that the wreckage of the UAV damaged the glazing in a number of buildings in the city, including an elementary school and kindergarten, a museum, a church, an apartment building, as well as a gas pipe," Kondratiev informed.

In public, local residents discuss that the target of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was the Tuapse oil refinery of Rosneft. After the impact, a powerful fire broke out in the tank farm of the enterprise.

Before that, the refinery was attacked less than a week ago — on April 16. The fire has been extinguished for the last three days and was able to be eliminated only the day before. In total, more than 150 people and 49 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing.

Tuapse refinery is the only one on the Black Sea coast of Russia and is one of the top 10 largest in the country. Its capacity allows processing up to 12 million tons per year. At the same time, the plant is fully export-oriented and does not supply gasoline and diesel fuel to the domestic market.
