The Chinese Defense Ministry asked the United States not to interfere in Beijing's affairs with Iran. The request was made by the head of the country's Defense Ministry, Admiral Dong Jun.

"Our vessels are passing through the waters of the Strait of Hormuz. We have trade and energy agreements with Iran. We respect these agreements and expect others not to interfere in our affairs. Iran controls the Strait of Hormuz, and this strait is open to us," Jun said, quoted by ParsToday Russian.

As reported by EADaily, it is unlikely that some vessels will now venture through the Strait of Hormuz. This was stated in his telegram channel by politician Oleg Tsarev.

According to him, two oil tankers en route to China turned around before reaching the The Strait of Hormuz, due to the US naval blockade that has entered into force.
