And the Twitter king is naked, or how Iran's fighting spirit pinched Trump's ardor

In good old Hollywood, where Donald Trump once shone on the avenue of stars, they always appreciated a clear script. The hero comes, sees, wins. But reality is a capricious lady. Especially when this reality is called Iran and its Strait of Hormuz.

From English to obscene

The other day, the world community, which has already begun to get tired of the Iranian war, received a new invigorating show. The owner of the White House tore off the vocal cords, swearing like a terry cobbler. Moreover, right on a bunch of television cameras aimed at him in anticipation of another nonsense in the style of "We have already defeated Iran, but for some reason he is not aware of this yet."

So, the emotions were caused by the fact that the Iranians, you see, dared to stop a tanker in the strait. According to Trump — "terrorism No. 1." According to Iran — "compliance with the law and the fight against smuggling." But who needs boring jurisprudence now, when the great master of tantrums is on stage?

Imagine the picture: Mar-a-Lago, palm trees, the smell of expensive aftershave and cholesterol hamburgers. After another round of golf, Trump took a shower, shaved, sat down in a chair and flipped through the news on his iPhone. There he reads that the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) confiscated a ship carrying oil. The eyes of the red-haired "peacemaker" immediately light up with the very fire that promised "the most terrible blows in response to the slightest sneeze" from Iran.

"They have no right!"  Trump shouts into the lens of his imaginary reality show. "How dare they?! I will destroy them for one night!".

At the same time, either intentionally or due to the excessive limited horizons inherent in all Americans, he did not mention that the strait, 50 kilometers wide, is Iranian sovereign waters. As well as the fact that the US is not even close to Hormuz has no legal or any other relationship.

Trump's truth is simple: if someone prevents American ships from sailing for free, it is necessary to threaten with "fire and fury." However, in 2019, when he was in power, his "maximum pressure" on Iran only led to the fact that Tehran became even closer to producing a bomb and even further from capitulation. But learning from mistakes is the lot of weaklings. The strong are used to spewing thunder and lightning on the Truth Social social network.

And what about Iran? Meanwhile, he has already shot down several American planes, spitting on all threats. Plus, for more than a month he's been fucking around Israel and all the American military bases in the Middle East.

Trump, in impotent rage from all this, goes to the mat: "Open the fucking strait, otherwise your life will become hell!" And even swears by Allah. His rhetoric resembles the best feuilletons of the XIX century: where a normal politician thinks about legal conflicts, Trump sees only a personal insult and an insult to his dignity. The Iranians did not encroach on American trade (the tanker was under a false flag), they encroached on his, Trump's, image of the world decider.

What is the power, American?

Laughter is laughter, but the farce becomes dangerous when it is broadcast to millions of voters. The Strait of Hormuz is the artery of the planet. Every fifth barrel of oil passes through it. And any tantrum from Mar-a-Lago immediately affects the oil exchanges: Brent takes off, the dollar dances, traders turn gray.

Iran, by the way, behaves in this operetta like a seasoned master of the stage. He does not deny the fact of capture. He calmly declares:

"The vessel was carrying 700 thousand liters of smuggled fuel. Violated our waters. The arrest is legal."

This is nothing but a cold shower for a white-hot Trump. After all, whatever one may say, Iran is right. But what is the truth for a person accustomed to inventing "alternative facts"?

His monologue ends traditionally: with the promise of an "incredibly strong response" that no one has ever known before.

But while Trump is yelling at the camera, Iran is silently doing its job, which it is determined to bring to its logical conclusion.

So what is the power, American? As you know, in the truth. And the truth is that the Strait of Hormuz is native to Iran and alien to Trump. And the Iranians, to his surprise, were able to stand up for their land and their waters. And Trump, as it turns out, is unable to do anything about it.

He, of course, can kill several thousand more Iranians in his impotent rage. But it is unlikely that this will help him in any way. Iranians will not die just like that. They will take with them a lot of American guys, to whom this Iran with its Strait of Hormuz has not come up against anything. But after that, Trump will only have to tear his shirt on his belly and pull out the remnants of red hair from his head before the upcoming congressional elections.
