The star of probably the most famous erotic thriller "Basic Instinct" Sharon Stone refused to watch intimate scenes on TV. She stated this in the CBS Mornings program, a fragment of which is available on YouTube.
The actress came to the studio of the morning show to advertise the third season of the series "Euphoria" from HBO, in the filming of which she took part. It is known that currently the series is considered one of the most outspoken of the TV projects.
"Now, when sex scenes are shown on TV, I often squander them. I don't want to see it. I don't want to immerse myself in all this naked, tough sexuality," Stone said.
According to her, intimate scenes on TV "steal her own imagination."
"And I prefer my personal feelings: anticipation, mystery and desire. I want to keep them to myself," the actress concluded.
As reported by EADaily, in July last year it became known that the United Artists film studio, owned by Amazon MGM Studios, is launching a remake of the thriller "Basic Instinct" (1992) by Paul Verhoeven.
The author of the original picture, Joe Esterhaz, planned to work on the script. The contract with him cost the company $ 4 million, with $ 2 million paid immediately, and the screenwriter will receive another $ 2 million if the project is actually completed.
