Iran has struck a merchant ship associated with Israel in the Strait of Hormuz. This is reported in the social network X by the command of the IRGC Naval Forces.

"The drone hit the MSC Ishika vessel associated with the Israeli regime in the Strait of Hormuz. A large fire broke out on board the vessel,"the report said, quoted by ParsToday Russian.

As reported by EADaily, the US intelligence community is leaning towards a pessimistic forecast regarding the unblocking of the Strait of Hormuz and the post-war functioning of this most important sea passage. This was reported by Reuters with reference to informed sources. In their opinion, it should not be expected that Tehran will ease the pressure on The Strait of Hormuz.
