The Kremlin's negotiator with Washington — the special representative of the President of the Russian Federation for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, the head of the RDIF Kirill Dmitriev called Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk panicked because of the energy crisis in Europe and the situation with NATO.
"The panicked Tusk," he wrote on Twitter, commenting on the post of the Polish prime minister.
Tusk previously wrote on Twitter that "the threat of the collapse of NATO, the easing of sanctions against Russia, a large—scale energy crisis in Europe, the termination of aid to Ukraine and the blocking of a loan for Kiev by [Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor] Orban - all this looks like a dream plan [of Russian President Vladimir] Putin."
As reported, in an interview with Reuters, US President Donald Trump said he felt disgusted with NATO and was considering withdrawing the United States from the alliance. The head of the White House told The Daily Telegraph newspaper that he was considering reviewing US participation in NATO, since the alliance did not support Washington in the war with Iran. In the same interview, the American leader called NATO a "paper tiger" and admitted that he had never felt much sympathy for the organization.
