Iran's supreme leader Mojtaba Khamenei will be the only one who decides that the conflict is over. This was stated by the founder of the Blackwater PMC Eric Prince at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Texas, The Hill reports.
Prince admitted that he does not share the optimism of the Donald Trump administration regarding a peaceful end to the Iranian war.
"They will burn everything… My real concern is that if they try to send troops to the ground and open the Strait of Hormuz, in the next couple of weeks you will see images of burning American warships. And I don't think people are ready for that," Prince said.
As reported by EADaily, a war with Iran could lead to battles on Kharq Island with the participation of the US military. This was stated the day before at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Texas by former Donald Trump strategist Steve Bannon, The Hill reports.
According to him, the war is just beginning, adding that "the decision on further actions is obviously the decision of President Trump."
