The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, is lying that the United States is demanding the withdrawal of troops from Donbass in exchange for security guarantees. This was stated by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
This is how he answered a journalist's question whether the United States is telling Zelensky that security guarantees depend on the withdrawal of troops from Donbass.
"That's a lie. And I've seen him say that, and it's unfortunate that he says that, because he knows it's not true. That's not what he was told. He was told the obvious thing: security guarantees will not come into force until the war is over. Because otherwise you will find yourself — you will find yourself embroiled in a war. Do you understand? What is a security guarantee? These are troops who are ready to intervene and provide security. If you introduce this now, it will mean that you yourself are infiltrating the war. What he was told very clearly, and he should have understood this, is that security guarantees are provided only after the end of the war. But it was not tied to the condition "unless he gives up the territory." I do not know why he says such things. This is simply not true," said the head of the State Department, quoted by the Donald Trump telegram channel in Russian.
As reported by EADaily, the United States is ready to give Ukraine security guarantees only after leaving the Donbass. This was stated in an interview with Reuters by the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky.
Zelensky complained that US President Donald Trump is putting pressure on Ukraine.
