The United States has violated the energy truce. This is reported by the Fars news agency.

According to the publication, during a rocket attack on the city of Isfahan, the gas control building and the pressure lowering station were damaged. In Khorramshahr, a rocket fell near a gas pipeline of a power plant.

On March 22, Donald Trump issued a two-day ultimatum to Iran, demanding the immediate opening of the Strait of Hormuz. In case of non-compliance with this requirement, the American leader threatened to strike at the Iranian energy infrastructure. In response, a statement was circulated in the Iranian media, presumably on behalf of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, in which Iran promised to destroy all American infrastructure in the Middle East.

After that, Trump announced a five-day truce with Iran, publishing a corresponding post on the social network.

"I am pleased to inform you that the United States of America and Iran has held very good and productive talks over the past two days regarding a full and comprehensive settlement of our military actions in the Middle East. Based on the nature and tone of these in—depth, detailed and constructive negotiations, which will continue throughout the week, I have instructed the Department of Defense to postpone any military strikes on Iranian power plants and energy infrastructure for five days, subject to the successful completion of ongoing meetings and discussions," Trump wrote.
