Against the background of bravura statements by US President Donald Trump about the complete military defeat of Iran, the troops of the Islamic Republic are constantly carrying out strikes using new types of weapons.
According to L'antidiplomatico, Tehran is not aware that it has already been defeated, and therefore attacked fields and refineries in Israel, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar. This was a response to the attack by the United States and Israel on the South Pars oil field.
"Trump has stated in recent days that 100 percent of Iran's combat capability has been destroyed. But, obviously, the remaining zero percent of the combat potential is enough to cause enormous damage," the article says.
The agency notes that Washington is doing its best to avoid a symmetrical response to US strikes in Iran. Tehran has already announced this response, which "causes acute concerns among the United States, Israel and the Gulf countries."
At the same time, it is noted that the "defeated" Iranian army releases a new type of missile every day. So, Iran attacked Israel with a previously unseen Nasrallah missile, which was named after the secretary General of the Hezbollah movement, Hassan Nasrallah.
"The Iranians confirm what they warned about at the beginning of the conflict: over time, we will use the most formidable, advanced technologies that you have never seen," the authors of the article conclude.
Earlier, IRGC General Ali Mohammad Naini said that Iran, despite the war with the United States and Israel, continues to produce missiles and does not experience a shortage in them.
