After the strike on onshore oil and gas facilities in southern Iran, which also affected gas production at the largest South Pars field, Tehran promised a retaliatory attack. Citizens in the UAE, Qatar and Saudi Arabia were warned. The markets reacted immediately. Oil and gas continued to rise in price.

"In response to the attacks of the US regime and the Zionist regime on Iran's oil facilities in South Pars, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has warned citizens of Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Qatar should stay away from the oil facilities of these countries," the Irna news agency reports.

According to Bloomberg, we are talking about the Samreif refinery and the Dzhubail petrochemical complex in Saudi Arabia, the Al-Hosan field in the UAE, as well as Qatari capacities: the Mayside petrochemical complex and the Ras Laffan refinery (phases I and II of South Pars on the Qatari side of the Persian Gulf).

"These places will become direct and legitimate targets and will be attacked in the coming hours," the IRGC said.

Earlier it became known that an oil facility in South Pars and Asaluya was hit in Iran. Fars news agency reports that several sections have been stopped at the gas field. Not only Iran's gas supply depends on the field, but also Turkey, which receives 10% of the gas, and the neighboring country.

"A decisive response is being prepared. Sources associated with the Iranian armed forces state that this war crime will not go unpunished and that Iran's retaliatory measures will target the enemy's infrastructure, which was previously considered safe," the IRGC said.

Obviously, we are talking about projects in which American companies participate.

The blow to the Iranian oil and gas complex was immediately noticed on the oil market. The price of oil rose from $ 101 per barrel to 108.6. And gas in Europe generally jumped to $ 666 per thousand cubic meters.
