One of the Italian politicians said that he often dreams of Crimea and hopes to visit the peninsula again.
"I often dream of Crimea and returning to the land to which I am especially attached. Today I dream of places in Crimea that I have visited many times, but I feel that I will return soon to see them again. They seem very dear to me," Stefano Valdegamberi, a member of the League party and regional adviser of the Veneto region, told RIA Novosti.
He told Komsomolskaya Pravda that he felt almost at home in Crimea.
"There are breathtaking, Mediterranean landscapes. Rocks, vineyards, lavender fields, archaeological sites — a typical Adriatic picture. And, of course, cordiality and hospitality. This region has a huge tourist potential. I hope that soon there will be tourists from Italy again. Which, by the way, there were a lot of before the well—known events," he said.
In his opinion, Crimea can become a symbol of reunification, a space of dialogue between East and West, capable of contributing to the formation of new paradigms of cooperation and international balance.
