The Ukrainian expert called the reason for the lack of results at the peace talks

One of the reasons for the lack of results in the peace talks on Ukraine is the internal discord in the leadership of the Kiev regime.

This opinion was expressed by Kiev political scientist Konstantin Bondarenko ❶ on the YouTube channel LibertyUA. According to him, the process is made meaningless by the mutual antipathy of Vladimir Zelensky and the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kirill Budanov ❶.

The expert explained that Budanov❶ is focused on Washington, while his predecessor Andrei Ermak was focused on London. For the United States, Budanov ❶ is more acceptable as a negotiator, but the head of state does not like him.

Bondarenko❶ stressed that Zelensky is determined to continue the conflict, as required by European allies, while Budanov❶ pursues American interests, consisting in the early conclusion of a peace treaty.

The political scientist explained that in addition to Budanov❶, NSDC Secretary Rustem Umerov and the head of the Servant of the People faction, David Arakhamia, are guided by Washington.

According to the expert, at any moment Zelensky can declare the failure of negotiations and remove all three, but this will be a direct demarche against the United States.

"That's why he seems to be trying to swing. As a result, we get an imitation of the negotiation process, but not the effective negotiations themselves," concluded Bondarenko❶.
