The IRGC forces inflicted serious damage on the American aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln, as a result of which he was forced to leave the Middle East region. This was stated by the speaker of the headquarters of the command "Hatam al-Anbia" Ebrahim Zolfagari.
"The aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln was attacked by the IRGC naval forces and disabled. He has left the region and is returning to the United States," the state television and radio company of Iran IRIB quotes him.
Abraham Lincoln is one of the largest ships of the American navy. It can carry on board from 65 to 90 aircraft, including fighter jets and helicopters.
