The United States demands that Russia not transfer intelligence to Iran. This was stated by special envoy of the US President Steven Witkoff, according to TASS.
A journalist on board the presidential plane asked Witkoff if he had asked the Russian side not to transfer information about targets and other assistance to Iran.
"I have stated this decisively," the special envoy said.
When asked if he believes that such assistance is being provided, Witkoff expressed the hope that this is not the case.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump said that the United States is not aware of whether Russia is transferring data to Iran.
On February 28, the United States, together with Israel, launched a military operation against Iran, striking the country's largest cities, including Tehran. The White House administration explained its actions by the threat of missile and nuclear attacks from Iran.
In response, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced large-scale counterattacks, attacking targets in Israel. US facilities in Bahrain, Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
As a result of Iran's bombing, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and a number of other high-ranking officials were killed.
