The collectors of Oschadbank detained in Budapest have been transferred to Ukraine, they have already crossed the border. This was stated on the social network by the country's Foreign Minister Andrei Sibiga.
"I have already informed President Volodymyr Zelensky that we have managed to secure the release of seven Ukrainian citizens detained in Budapest. They are already safe and have crossed the Ukrainian border. Our consuls provided the necessary assistance," writes Sibiga, quoted by Vremya.ua».
According to Oschadbank, 40 million dollars, 35 million euros and 9 kg of gold were transported in collection vehicles that were detained in Hungary yesterday. Nothing is said about their fate.
As EADaily reported, the acting charge d'affaires of the Hungarian Embassy in Kiev was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine due to the detention of Oschadbank collectors in Budapest.
Recall, the Hungarian authorities published a video of the detention of Ukrainian collectors of Oschadbank and photos of the seized funds of the Ukrainian golden convoy.
