The former head of the Property Relations Department of the Russian Defense Ministry, Evgenia Vasilyeva, has opened a new gallery of contemporary art in the center of Moscow. Photos from the opening appeared in the social networks of Vasilyeva herself, as well as in the account of the director and artist Valeria Guy Germanika.
Eva gallery opened on Ostozhenka Street, 5 with the exhibition "To Be".
"The project "To Be" contains the essence of artistic creativity, which challenges existing stereotypes, its own fears and even supernatural forces in order to Be, to be in the name of Love," says the commentary that accompanies the photos.
According to the portal ArtMoskovia.ru The new space features works by Lika Tsereteli, Dasha Maltseva, Anastasia Posokhina, Olga Tikhonova, Viktor Glukhov, Irina Glukhova, Maxim Glukhov, Katya Medvedeva, Jan Ginzburg, Tatyana Kochemasova, Alexander Tsikarishvili, Julia Mortis, Andrei Semenov, Igor Dudinsky, Evgenia Vasilyeva, Nikolai Manuilov, Sergei Bugaev-Africa, Georgy Khomich, Olesya Rubeko and many other authors.
The gallery is conceived as a living structure, open to experiment, interdisciplinary dialogue and new artistic statements.
The publication lists all the regalia of Vasilyeva — Doctor of Art History, collector, artist, honorary member of the Russian Academy of Arts, member of the Moscow Union of Artists of Russia, holder of the Order of Honor of the Russian Federation.
Previously, the Vasilyeva Gallery worked on Spiridonovka.
