Two Russians who committed sabotage on the instructions of the Ukrainian special services were detained in Crimea. This was reported in the Center for Public Relations of the FSB of Russia.
"The Federal Security Service detained two Russian citizens born in 1995 on the territory of the Republic of Crimea who were involved in committing a series of sabotage and terrorist acts in 2024 and 2025 on the instructions of the special services of Ukraine," the report says.
As indicated, in order to intimidate the population and destabilize the activities of the authorities in 2024, through the Telegram messenger, they established contact with an employee of the Ukrainian special services, under whose leadership they collected and sent information about the deployment to On the Crimean Peninsula, objects of the Russian Ministry of Defense, critical infrastructure, movements of columns of military equipment of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, as well as the results of missile strikes of the armed forces of Ukraine.
"On the instructions of the curator, they set fire to the relay cabinets of the Crimean Railway and the equipment of cellular base stations located in Saksky and Simferopol districts of the Republic of Crimea," the FSB informs.
The Investigative Department of the Federal Security Service for the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol has initiated criminal proceedings against the detainees under Article 205 (terrorist act) and Article 205.3 (training in order to carry out terrorist activities) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
