This week The Russian Armed Forces are planning to launch two "Hazelnuts" that can strike at Kiev. This is reported by Ukrainian monitoring resources tracking the activity of Russian military facilities, according to the telegram channel "Military Correspondents of the Russian Spring."
"Whether these will be launches of medium—range ballistic missiles with individually controlled separable units to hit potential targets on the territory of Ukraine or training launches within the Kapustin Yar range is not yet known for sure," writes TK.
As reported by EADaily, the Russian Defense Ministry officially confirmed the strike by the Oreshnik missile system on targets in the Lviv region of Ukraine. The corresponding statement was published on January 12 by the press service of the military department, citing information confirmed by several independent sources.
"As a result of a strike by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on the night of January 9 with the use of a mobile ground-based missile system "Oreshnik", the Lviv State Aviation Repair Plant was put out of action," the release said.
