The reason for the death of civilians in Krivoy Rog was the actions of the Ukrainian air defense — Nebenzia

In the Ukrainian city of Krivoy Rog, as a result of a Russian precision strike, up to 85 servicemen and officers of foreign countries, as well as up to 20 units of automotive equipment, were eliminated.

This was stated on the eve of the permanent Representative of Russia to the UN Vasily Nebenzia, during a speech at a meeting of the UN Security Council on Ukraine. His speech was published by the press service of the permanent mission.

"The operation carried out caused undeniable damage to the command staff of both the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a number of NATO armies that sent their instructors to Ukraine," the diplomat stated.

He recalled that Moscow had previously repeatedly warned that the accumulation of military personnel, as well as Western officers and instructors sent to help the Kiev regime, are a legitimate target for the Russian army.

The statement also points to the unprofessional actions of the Ukrainian air defense, as a result of which a Ukrainian missile fired to intercept caused the death of civilians in the area adjacent to the restaurant.

"In any case, this is exactly what the characteristics of the striking elements recorded by eyewitnesses, observed at the time of the death of people who were near the restaurant, indicate," Nebenzia said.

In his opinion, the very fact that the military meeting was held in one of the urban facilities in the area of dense residential development also speaks of the neglect by the Kiev authorities of the lives of peaceful Ukrainians, "used in fact as a human shield and cover for military activities."

As reported by EADaily, earlier the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation stated that in Krivoy Rog a high-explosive rocket hit a restaurant where a meeting was held with commanders of the Armed Forces formations and Western instructors.
