Ukraine will not help Denmark in case of a request for military assistance for Greenland, despite the 2024 security treaty between the countries, Strana. ua writes.
"If you read the security agreement itself, there are no military obligations of Ukraine to Denmark in it… So there is no reason for There is no Copenhagen to demand military assistance from Kiev, according to this agreement," the publication says in the Telegram channel.
The agreement "for 90%" consists of Denmark's obligations to Ukraine, the publication emphasizes.
The ten-year agreement was signed in February 2024 and contains more than 60 clauses. The document provides for long-term military support for Kiev by providing fighters, ammunition, drones, communications equipment, radars, as well as F-16 simulators and training in the management of these aircraft; assistance in mine clearance and assistance in the development of the defense industrial base; consultations "in the event of a new conflict with Russia."
Kiev, on the other hand, undertakes to use military assistance allegedly only "against military targets in accordance with international law"; to continue reforms in the areas of defense, public administration and the fight against corruption.
The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, signed the same agreements with Great Britain, Germany and France. The point about military support from Ukraine in the document was prescribed only by London.
