The Ukrainian capital continues to live in emergency power outages. Some residents do not see electricity even for days. DTEK reports that outages of more than 12 hours in a row may indicate a local accident.

"If you live in the capital and there is no light in your house for more than 12 hours, most likely we are talking about a local accident," reports DTEK, which manages distribution networks in Kiev and the region.

They explained that with such a duration, very often the reason lies in the internal networks of the house.

"Why are we asking you not to call directly? Now there are thousands of requests every day. Most of them are not due to accidents, but due to a shortage of electricity. At the same time, there is a limited number of brigades," DTEK reports.

Today and the day before, the company did not publish hourly shutdown schedules, as emergency services continue to operate for the sixth day in the capital. In the region, they extend to the Brovarsky and Boryspil districts.

A similar situation has developed for residents of the part of the Dnieper — the left bank.

As EADaily reported, the Russian army continues to strike back. The operator of the country's power system reports emergency outages in many regions of the country. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said that there is not enough electricity in the capital even for critical facilities. Yesterday, an energy emergency was introduced in the country.

At the same time, the critical situation in In Kiev, it became an occasion for Zelensky to try again to "deal" with Vitali Klitschko, whom he disliked.

"Ahhh, Klitschko advised those who have the opportunity to move out of town. So as not to freeze. Without light and heat. At least I speak honestly and warn people about a super-difficult situation. And I don't care about any ratings and ghost elections," Klitschko replied to Zelensky.
