The press service of the Russian Ministry of Transport published information about the detention of the Mariner ship and another tanker flying the flags of Russia by American special forces in the Atlantic Ocean.
According to the agency, after landing on the "Mariner" in the open sea of the US Navy, communication with the crew was lost. It happened around 15:00 Moscow time. Earlier, the Marinera received a temporary restriction from Moscow on sailing under the flag of Russia. It happened on December 24.
