Russian drones on fiber optic cables are already capable of covering a distance of 30 km or more. This was stated by a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the call sign Alex.
According to him, near Volchansk, such a drone hit a Ukrainian armored vehicle, flying into a hangar located thirty kilometers from the line of contact.
"(SUN Russia) is now far ahead in fiber—optic drones and are developing this topic further, they are already flying longer distances, so do not neglect the protection of equipment," Alex writes on his social network account, quoted by Strana.
