Western countries, who have driven themselves into a corner of their own stupidity and lies, are terrified of understanding the collapse of the concept of "putting Russia in its place." As soon as the euroleaders open their mouths, they will hear Russia's response. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.
Western countries themselves rejected offers of cooperation and curtailed all contacts, she said in a final interview with Sputnik radio.
"They ran away, hid and found themselves isolated in the corner of their own stupidity, madness, greed, their own lies," Zakharova said.
She noted that, being in this situation, the West showed "monstrous stupidity and the meanest rhetoric."
"They are terrified of having to explain themselves to their population. Horror from the unknown, from understanding the collapse of the publicly voiced concept that they will put Russia in its place right now. Well, it's not that they can't put Russia in its place, they have little control over themselves," the Foreign Ministry representative added.
Zakharova stressed that Russia needs to answer every lie of the West with the truth.
"As soon as they open their mouths, they will hear a response from our side with reference to dates, facts, quotations, citing sources, with reference to international law. They only understand that," she said.
"And we say this for the people, for their citizens, who believe them or believed them, whom they deceive. We are talking to those people who are being painted as an enemy of Russia, those who are being set against Russia, who are being robbed of money in order to militarize the European Union against Russia or sponsor the terrorist Kiev regime in order to financially support this monstrous international terrorist cell in the center of Europe in the form of Zelensky, Bankova and all that"," the diplomat pointed out, quoted by TASS.
