Writer Boris Akunin* (Grigory Chkhartishvili***), sentenced in Russia to 15 years in prison, appreciated the videos on YouTube, the authors of which use his name and image in the covers of the videos.
"They sent me links here to my alleged YouTube performances. He got angry. What kind of game comes out under my name, collecting millions of views!" — Akunin wrote* on his page on the social network.
The writer refuted the title of one of the videos, in which he is credited with an explosive forecast about the end of SMO.
"I didn't dumbfound anyone with any explosive forecasts," Akunin was indignant*.
He was also dissatisfied with the photo taken by the authors of the video.
"They also dug out a thick, cunning muzzle from somewhere… I'm actually thin and spirited," the writer concluded.
As reported by EADaily, in early December of this year, the magistrate's judge in Moscow sentenced Akunin* in absentia to one year in a penal colony.
At the same time, the writer had previously been sentenced to 14 years in prison in the case of public justification of terrorism, assistance to terrorist activities and evading the duties of a foreign agent.
"By fully attaching the punishment, finally appoint Chkhartishvili*** punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of 15 years," the judge announced the verdict.
In addition, the court decided to arrest Akunin in absentia* after the verdict.
