The Central Bank of the Russian Federation insists on the return of blocked assets and compensation for losses, RIA Novosti reports.

"The amount of damage is made up of the amount of blocked funds of the Bank of Russia and the value of blocked securities and lost profits," the Central Bank of the Russian Federation said in a release without specifying the amount of the claim.

Therefore, Russia reserves the right to proceed to the implementation of all available legal mechanisms for the protection of interests without notice. The Bank of Russia will challenge any actions of the EC entailing the uncoordinated use of its assets in all available competent authorities.
