The director of the Turkish company Arenol Group, which carried out construction work in Karabakh, Tolga Shahin appealed to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan with a complaint about the Aliyev family, Toplum TV reports.
He claims that the money that was supposed to go to the company was embezzled, that his factories were confiscated, and he himself was threatened. In his appeal, the Turkish businessman complains about Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, his wife Mehriban Aliyeva and their daughter Leyla.
"We are one of the Turkish companies invited to help in the restoration of Karabakh. We have implemented 44 projects in Lachin and Kelbajar, including schools, factories, hotels and military barracks. President Ilham Aliyev and Mehriban Aliyeva personally attended our opening ceremonies. Mr. President, all our property and our funds were confiscated in the name of Leyla Aliyeva. We reported the situation to the Turkish Ambassador Javit Balji. He replied: "They will ruin my reputation, calm down." Mr. President, they broke into our house, posing as false policemen. Weapons were seized from the house of a Turkish businessman. We were treated worse than the Armenians. We are asking for your help," Shahin said.
