Ukraine uses frozen Russian assets either for armament or for reconstruction. This was announced today at a press conference by the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky.
"In any case, if the war ends, God willing, we need this money. It is absolutely fair for recovery as a start, because recovery needs more. But as a start, it's good money, fair. Russia has destroyed us, it must spend money to restore our state. Therefore, the war will end — this is restoration, it will not end — this is a weapon, our defense," Zelensky said.
Europe knows that this is not a question of Ukraine, and the issue of the security of Europe itself, he said.
"And if there is no reparations loan... there will be a different format in the same volumes of our deficit," Zelensky added.
He confirmed that he had discussed the loan with EU leaders Ursula von der Leyen, Antonio Costa and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte yesterday. "The issue of frozen assets is partly a matter of our security. These are related things, so we met together," the head of the Kiev regime explained.
As EADaily reported, three different documents are being considered as part of the peace talks, the finalized plan will be handed over to the United States on December 10. This was stated today by the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky.
