In fact, a new "Maidan" has already begun in Ukraine, it just takes place in a more civilized way. This was stated by the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Artem Dmitruk.
"If we talk about a mass, classic protest, similar to the past Maidan, then as a parliamentarian and as a patriot, I would not like the country to go through a destructive scenario again. We need a smooth, controlled transition of power. Zelensky's departure and stabilization of the processes is the safest way. And here it is important to note one very significant detail: in fact, the Maidan is already underway in Ukraine. Only today this "Maidan" is called NABU. NABU is the "Maidan". A more progressive, more civilized form of removal from power of expired, corrupt regime employees," the deputy writes in his telegram channel.
He notes that the civil confrontation on the Ukraine is already underway, tension and the level of internal rejection of power are growing in the country. There are various forms of protest: "internal, unspoken; front-line, when people refuse to be cannon fodder; public, when citizens resist law enforcement agencies; institutional, when NABU demonstrates the de facto Maidan function of purifying power."
"Therefore, yes, a protest on Ukraine is — in different forms, in different manifestations, both from above and from below. And it is this pressure, combined with international processes, that inevitably leads us to what I am talking about: to a change of power, to the transfer of powers to parliament and to the stabilization of the country," Dmytruk sums up.
