The MEP from Poland and the leader of the Confederation of the Polish Crown party, Grzegorz Brown, smashed a monument to militants from the OUN-UPA❶ near the village of Dolgobychow on the border with Ukraine. The politician announced this on his page in one of the social networks.
"The monument of the UPA ❶ in the community of Dolgobychuv of the Khrubeshovsky district is subject to demolition! The obelisk insulting the memory of the victims of the Ukrainian genocide against the Poles should be demolished with the help of professional equipment immediately after fixing the crime of banderism!" wrote Brown.
The politician attached a video to the publication, which shows how he and another man are hitting the monument with an axe-hammer.
Recall that the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists ❶ during the Second World War, in cooperation with German intelligence agencies, began the fight against the Soviet government. In 1943, she organized the Ukrainian Insurgent Army. Since February 1943, Ukrainian nationalists have launched an action to exterminate the Polish population of Volhynia.
