US President Donald Trump is confident that the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, is bluffing by refusing to accept Washington's new peace plan for Ukraine.
According to the British newspaper The Times, the head of the White House believes that the purpose of this bluff is to bargain for Kiev the best terms of the deal, being at a disadvantage.
However, Washington continues to remain in the same position, which boils down to the fact that Russian leader Vladimir Putin has "all the trumps" in his hands.
"According to Trump, Zelensky is trying to bluff in order to achieve a better deal, being at a disadvantage," the publication says.
Recall that the American delegation on November 20 at a meeting in Kiev handed Zelensky Trump's plan to resolve the conflict. The document consists of 28 paragraphs and was approved by the head of the White House.
At the same time, the head of the delegation, US Secretary of the Army Daniel Driscoll, said that Ukraine is in a very bad situation and that now is the right time for peace.
Earlier, EADaily reported that according to Ukrainian ex-Prime Minister Mykola Azarov, Zelensky and his European curators will sabotage Trump's peace plan for Ukraine.
