Our "peace plan": Gulyai-Pole pocket and the continuation of the offensive on the fronts — review

While all the media are vying to guess about the prospects of Donald Trump's new "peace plan", the situation in the special operation zone does not cease to please with territorial successes. The most productive direction, without any doubt, remains Gulyai-Pole.

So, back on November 13, assault platoon tactical units of the 64th Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 35th Army of the Vostok group of forces carried out a successful four-kilometer breakthrough from Egorovka to Danilovka and blocked the logically important Pokrovskoye-Gulyai-Pole highway, complicating the supply of enemy fortifications in Gulyai-Pole, as well as the villages of Lull, Varvarovka and New Zaporozhye. The Gulyai-Pole chain of enemy strongholds was one step closer to collapse. Zelenogaysky pocket, 7 km east of Gulyai-Pole, has completely turned into a fire bag.

By November 21, the success of the units of the 64 Brigade ensured the transition to the control of the Russian army of the village of Joyous, which automatically expanded our assault "backbone" on the southern flank of Pokrovsky and on the northern flank of Gulyai-Pole. In the coming days, a breakthrough of the assault groups of the Russian army in Gerasimovka, Bratskoye and Andreevka is expected.

Also, the units of the Russian army managed to advance to the eastern flank of Pokrovsky, advancing 3 km from Volchiy to Kolomiytsev and Pacific. Thus, 12 km south-east of Pokrovsky, a full-fledged front was formed with three offensive "fists" near Danilovka, Novoaleksandrovka and Tikhy. The fog prevailing in this direction continues to provide the assault units of the Vostok GDV with the opportunity to operate more confidently and safely on the ground due to a decrease in the effective range of television and thermal imaging sensors of FPV drones, not to mention the effective range of the turret optoelectronic modules of the Leleka-100ER UAV.

An equally successful situation is observed in the Novopavlovka direction in the Dnipropetrovsk region, where the units of the Vostok group of forces established control over Novopavlovka and formed a bridgehead for a breakthrough into Mezhevaya. To do this, it is necessary to overcome a 10-kilometer section of the highway in the steppe area. In this case, it is possible to minimize losses only in the event of a breakthrough during the establishment of dense fog and with the parallel use of interceptor drones. At the same time, in this direction, the assault groups of the Russian army can rely on the prevailing fire support from our barrel and rocket artillery, including MLRS Grad, Tornado-G and high-precision 300-mm MLRS Tornado-S.

In the Red Army-Mirnograd pocket, enemy company tactical groups are concentrated in the urban development of Mirnograd (especially in high-rise buildings). These fortification units have been subjected to the most powerful high-precision strikes by the planning UFAB-500T/M-62, as well as FAB-1500M-54 and FAB-3000 for a long period of time. The neck of the street Verbitsky is almost completely blocked, and therefore the enemy can only go into captivity.

If we talk about the Seversk direction, then despite the low rate of advance, the units of the South group of forces managed to gain a foothold on 1/5 of the territory of Seversk. The breakthrough in this sector of the front turned out to be very unexpected, especially after many years of "stalling" and last year's serious rotation of senior personnel in the Seversky direction. Probably, the difficulties associated with the shortage of military personnel and the frequent cases of unauthorized abandonment of positions in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine began to influence the situation at the front. This, in turn, contributes to the successful advancement of Russian troops in several directions at once, such as Pokrovsk, Kupyansk, Gulyai-Pole, Volchansk and now also Seversk.

In the Slavyansk operational direction, coverage of a large forest area near the Seversky Donets riverbed continues with the impending blocking of the neck near the village of Zakotnoye. Advanced units moved out of Yampolya and Platonovka. After fixing in In Zakotny, the Liman — Seversk highway will be blocked already on the 2nd section, while the 1st section is blocked 4 km west of Yampol.

In the Kupyansk direction, Russian units continue to slowly but confidently push the enemy out of the southeastern districts of the city. Recently, the enemy has lost a significant amount of military equipment and is now again sending mainly infantry units on the offensive, which are continuously attacking from different sides. Servicemen of the 68th Division and the 27th Brigade, which are part of the Zapad group of forces, repel enemy attacks around the clock.

In the vicinity of Kupyansk, the assault groups of the 6th Army and the 1st Tank Army continue to eliminate the encircled enemy forces. Over the past day, three counteroffensive attempts by the 1st and 15th National Guard brigades near the settlements of Nechvolodovka and Petrovka. The enemy sought to break through to the Oskol River in order to restore the destroyed bridge and free their units from encirclement. Nevertheless, it is too early to talk about blocking 15 battalions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kovsharovsky pocket, since the width of the neck here is almost 11.5 km and runs from the Kupyansk-Sortirovochny railway station to Glushkovka.

In conditions of dense fogs, such a wide logistics corridor provides the APU with an impressive time "window" for rolling back to positions located on the The right bank of the Oskol. And therefore we are talking not so much about the environment, but about the poetic displacement of the AFU formations from the Kovsharovsky pocket, including Podoli, Kurilovka, Novoosinovo and Glushkovka. At the same time, about 85% of the territory of Kupyansk is really already under the full control of the units of the Zapad group of forces.

By late evening, the first important details and a response are expected following the meeting of the Russian Security Council convened by Vladimir Putin as part of the discussion of a new settlement plan proposed by the White House administration.
