The United States can set its own conditions at a meeting in Turkey. Commenting on the upcoming talks between US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Zelensky on November 19 on Vesti FM, the author and presenter of the Iron Logic program, Sergey Mikheev, said this.
"The essence of the meeting boils down to the fact that Witkoff will tell him: "Listen, you've finished playing, let's move here and here, and we'll bend the Russians so that they move there and there. Or nothing will work out for us, and we don't promise you anything, and it's not clear what will happen next," Mikheev said.
He also noted the statement of Secretary of State Mark Rubio, who stated that the United States has almost exhausted the possibilities for imposing new sanctions against Russia. This, according to Mikheev, may indicate Washington's fatigue with the Ukrainian problem.
"If earlier they so cheerfully promised some kind of sanctions from hell that would tear Russia apart, now the fact that Rubio wants to say that you have already got us all, also says something," the political scientist concluded.
