Eight Russian films released domestically in 2025 have collected more than 1 billion rubles. This is evidenced by the data of the EAIS (Unified Automated Information System on film Screenings in cinemas).
The leader was the film "The Wizard of the Emerald City. The Yellow Brick Road" by Igor Voloshin, released on January 1 and earned 3.34 billion rubles. In second place — "Finist. The first hero" by Dmitry Dyachenko with fees of 2.68 billion rubles, which was also released on the first day of the year. Closes the top three "Prophet. The Story of Alexander Pushkin" by Felix Umarov, the rental of which started on February 14 and collected 1.63 billion rubles.
Also, a billion exceeded the collection of paintings: "Father 2. Grandfather" — 1.59 billion rubles, "August" — 1.39 billion rubles, "Gorynych" — 1.26 billion, "Kraken" — 1.13 billion and "Alice in Wonderland" — 1.08 billion.
As reported by EADaily, the fairy tale "Alice in Wonderland", which is based on the songs of Vladimir Vysotsky in the Soviet audio play, became the 39th billionaire film in Russian cinema.
