A well-known doctor, TV presenter and author of health books, Alexander Myasnikov, at one time refused to stay in the United States and work in an American clinic. He told about it in the program "About the most important thing" on the channel "Russia 1", which is available on the platform Smotrim.ru .
According to Myasnikov, he studied in the United States on an exchange program. According to the terms of the program, after its completion, young doctors had to return to Russia. However, Myasnikov, against the background of a shortage of medical personnel in the United States, was offered to stay in the country and issue a work visa.
"I said, 'No, no, guys. See how you work? You are already in the hospital at six in the morning and leave at seven in the evening the next day. All you see is a corridor with patients and nothing else," Myasnikov recalled his reaction to the proposal.
"What difference does it make when you die — in 15 years or tomorrow? Nothing will change for you," he concluded.
As EADaily reported, in July of this year, during the filming of one of the programs, Myasnikov was bitten by an owl. The TV presenter then stayed away from the bird, but noted that owls also live at his dacha.
