The United States did not support Ukraine's anti-Russian statement at a meeting of the United Nations, in which Moscow was accused of violating the UN Charter.

And the statement of the representative of Kiev, which was published by the UN press service, says that Russia is "waging an unprovoked war against Ukraine."

And holding a meeting of the Security Council on the future of the UN on the Russian initiative was called an "insult to the Charter" of the organization. The document also calls "for the restoration of the territorial integrity of Ukraine" and the withdrawal of Russian troops.

Ukraine's statement was supported by more than 40 countries, including the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and several Eastern European countries. The American delegation was not included in the list of those who supported the statement.

As reported by EADaily, earlier the special representative of the President of Russia Kirill Dmitriev said that the summit of the presidents The Russian Federation and the United States of Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump will take place. He also stressed that the Europeans are trying to interfere in Russia's affairs.
